About Breast Cancer Foundation NZ  Established in 1994, Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation (NGO) that provides breast cancer education and awareness, medical research, training grants, advocacy and supports Kiwis with breast cancer.

Our vision is zero deaths from breast cancer. Currently, over 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer and over 650 die from breast cancer every year. BCFNZ’s programmes are evidence-based and overseen by its medical advisory committee.

About the role this is a part time role (20 hours a week) that is varied and hands-on, providing admin support to the whole team and ensuring the smooth-running of the office. Responsibilities will range from stationery ordering and liaising with the landlord to providing admin support for internal and external meetings.

From time to time, the role will also be a point of contact for our valued donors, whose amazing support is crucial to the Foundation continuing our important work. Core skills you will be comfortable taking minutes, have excellent time management skills and ideally have 2+ years of experience in an Administration role.

Great communication and organisational skills are crucial as well as attention to detail, a strong knowledge of Microsoft products, initiative and a ‘’nothing is a problem’’ attitude. As a point of contact for visitors and donors, you will need to be professional, friendly and approachable. Experience with CRM data entry and management is preferred.

Key responsibilities order stationery and other office supplies. Monitor general e-mails and phone calls. Implement office policies & procedures. Oversee general office & premise-related tasks. Volunteer coordination.

Conference/meeting support, including minute-taking. Manage meeting calendars. Manage grant applications & reporting requirements. Data entry/management. Cover for supporter care role as/when required. Any other office/admin related tasks.

Reporting to as part of the admin team, you will report directly to the Admin/Accounts Manager to provide admin support for the wider team. The position will also work closely with the CEO for Board-related tasks and the fundraising team for supporter care aspects.
