Occupational Therapist (Full time & Part time). No agent fees chargeable. Working Location Central. Good opportunity to grow, with career progression and advancement. Salary range from $3,500 to $6,000 (Depending on qualifications and experience).

Job description able to assess the underlying skills and issues related to hand function, oral motor function, visual motor and perceptual skills, sensory awareness/processing, self-care and pre-vocational tasks in the educational setting.

Review suitability of referrals for occupational therapy intervention. Assess and gather information from parents/guardian, teacher’s interview; classroom observation and review of student’s personal file etc. Recommend classroom and work site modifications in accordance to students and trainees functions. Provide individual and/or group occupational therapy session that will improve students’/ trainees’ functional performance and skills.

Require to assess, prepare and prepare functional activities that can be easily modified to match students’/ trainnes’ skill and interest thus ensure success. To conduct home visit as and when necessary. Provide parent /caregiver support such as home program to ensure and encourage continuity of the occupational therapy intervention at home. Assist on various aspects of training for students/trainees on job-trial and work preparation program.

Job requirements must possess a minimum Diploma / Degree / Master in Occupational Therapy. Possess at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Must possess a valid practicing certificate with Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC). Possess good command of English and interpersonal skills. Candidate who is able to commence work soon is a plus.
