About the Opportunity

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new opportunity for a Network Team Lead to join our dynamic IT team at Osborne, SA. This full-time role is your chance to take the reins of ASC’s enterprise network infrastructure - designing, building, and evolving the systems that keep our operations running smoothly and securely. You’ll lead a small, skilled team, drive strategic planning, and keep our network governance sharp and up to date. From mentoring and yearly planning to jumping in on the on-call roster and solving complex technical puzzles, this role is perfect for someone who’s hands-on, highly technical (bonus points for Cisco and Palo Alto experience), and thrives on leadership, innovation, and root cause analysis. Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the network team, managing workloads and supporting professional development.
Ensure secure, reliable operation of LAN, WAN, wireless, and perimeter security infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys and develop quotes for new or upgraded network capabilities.
Maintain and update network governance documentation and knowledge bases.
Drive network modernisation initiatives, including automation and cloud integration.
Plan and coordinate upcoming work and contribute to yearly infrastructure planning.
Participate in the on-call roster and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

About You

Proven experience in enterprise network design, implementation, and support.
Strong technical expertise in routing, switching, wireless, and perimeter security.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience in a technical team.
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Familiarity with ISM and other cybersecurity frameworks.
Strong communication, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and lead by example in a dynamic environment.
Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto technologies (preferred but not essential).

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
