Network TAC Engineer Modis location Sydney.

Network TAC engineer Modis is currently hiring a Network Engineer Level 2/Level 3 (multiple roles) for a 3 month initial contract to start with extensions. This is an immediate hiring role and requires working across 24/7 shifts. The team works closely with the Technical Operations, Networks & Security and Business.

The Engineer is responsible for ensuring efficient and timely transition of services into operational support, monitoring of events, timely contact of customers, incident management, level 1 technical triage, resolution within strict SLAs, all appropriate communication to key stakeholders, and root cause analysis.

Skill & capability Cisco Routing and Switching -CCNA & CCNP. Cisco Wi-Fi, Cisco Meraki Wi-Fi, Aruba Wi-Fi, Riverbed Steelhead WANx.

Roles & responsibilities design & Configuration of Cisco R&S for complex Enterprise/SP/DC Networks based on wide scope of existing technology including Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed, and F5. Operational incident and problem escalations/resolution (including rostered 24/7 on-call duties). High Severity incident (Sev1/2) resolution to maintain customer service level agreements, including TAC vendor engagement.

Project work including transitioning in of new customers and/or solutions into existing customer environments, design reviews/acceptance and technical implementation and transition into operational support. Service and operational improvement initiatives to drive efficiency (knowledge share, diagram updates, automation and scripting). Adhere to ITIL v3 change management and processes, including technical design and implementation of customer requirements under planned and agreed customer change windows (including after hours).
