Network engineer initial 2 months contract, CBD Location, Remote work.

Our client is looking for someone to support their Networks team for the next few months oto help support the extra work load the team has. This is an initial 2 month contract with the view to extend in the next Financial Year when budgets reset.

At a high level we are looking for someone who can Support the following activities security rule policy validation, grouping and implementation of 500+ firewall rules. Manual Production firewall, NVA, Traffic Manager, load balancer, Express routes updates. Documentation, Visio diagram and design updates for the above.

Juniper firewall update will provide some automation. Connectivity is between Azure and On-prem systems, so they need to be comfortable working across whole network, LAN, WAN, cloud etc.

Experience needed with azure networking. Juniper SRX and vSRX using CLI  and JunOS space. Azure Cloud Networking (Troubleshooting and creating NSG flow logs). Any experience in Banking and Finance will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone who can start immediately, or with a week.
