The Ministry is establishing a new Property Projects Team to support the efficient and effective delivery of our capital works programme. The projects range from new site builds, seismic and services upgrades through to office refurbishments.
We’re seeking someone with significant experience in leading property project work programmes and teams to set up this team and develop our approach to the effective delivery of projects. You will also need to provide technical oversight and support to the internal and external project managers delivering the project works.
About you to be successful in this role you will have a Tertiary qualification in a design and/or project management related discipline. Significant senior level experience leading the delivery of property projects for a large nationally distributed property and facilities portfolio.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relevant commercial property legislative and regulatory and compliance requirements and health, safety and security regulation and practice. Demonstrated senior experience in working with multiple stakeholders with complex and competing needs to ensure their property projects are delivered on time, in scope and on budget.
Proven senior leadership of a project delivery with a customer centric focus and drive for continuous improvement. Able to connect people and teams to deliver successful outcomes, irrespective of reporting line. Ability to manage a national team of specialised technical multi-disciplinary and diverse staff providing a Nation-wide service.

Salary range $134,852.00 - $199,786.00.
