Enough about us! What you’ll do as Commercial Partnerships Lead:
This role is responsible for driving premium revenue, strategic partnerships and sponsorships with a lens on our tentpole programs such as ‘MasterChef’, ‘Survivor’, ‘HYBPA?’ and ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!’ across our broadcast and digital platforms. This role will work on a dedicated patch of Melbourne clients and will see partnerships from brief, through to presentation and post-analysis.
Functions will also include:
Lead the development of innovative partnership ideas and strategies to enhance the value proposition for partners by developing best-in-class presentations and delivering them confidently and with conviction.
Maintain and nurture relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual benefit.
Identify, negotiate, and secure new commercial partnerships that align with Paramount ANZ's strategic goals.
Drive premium sponsorship revenue across all platforms at Paramount including broadcast and digital, as well as identifying areas for growth within tentpole properties alongside Sales.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including the wider sales team, marketing, digital ad product and the PBS strategy and content creation team, to develop and deliver integrated partnership solutions
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market developments
Lead the campaign management process and collaborate with various departments
Track and report on partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
Leading commercial pricing nationally, tailoring packages to budgets and creating renewals bespoke for clients.
Providing clear feedback to the Paramount Brand Studio team on the results of all partnerships and contributing to solutions for any limiting factors
What are we looking for in our Commercial Partnerships Lead? What’s important?
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Media, Business or related field
Ideally 5 years+ in commercial partnerships, preferably in media or the entertainment industry
Demonstrated experience in strategic and innovating thinking
Genuine commitment to meeting client expectations
High level of detail, flexibility, time management and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Professional and confident presentation skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt and meet deadlines
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour, a great team player
Confidence in using initiative to identify and solve partnership opportunities
