The role as one of our Museum and Gallery Assistants, your responsibilities will include overseeing routine venue operations, including volunteer management, prioritisation of tasks, facility presentation and the delivery of public programs. You will promote Council’s galleries and museums as key cultural facilities and provide positive visitor experiences through a sound knowledge of exhibitions, programs, collections, resources and procedures. Requirements looking for a role that combines both of these along with your excellence in customer service is a must! Ideally you'll have a Tertiary qualification in Arts or other relevant field, as well as current responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and current Blue Card - Queensland Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencing. You will be experienced working in a gallery or museum environment and have exceptional interpersonal skills to provide quality customer service.
