Description

Mobile Showroom Sales Manager Maker and Son location Sydney, CBD, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. Salary $110,000 - $129,999 Target earnings. We are now looking to expand our team in Sydney and have an exciting opportunity for a proven sales manager to take joint responsibility for sales growth in Sydney. This role will involve taking our mobile showroom (as seen on Instagram in the UK) to our Australian market. A proven track record in sales is essential alongside a passion for furniture, design and interiors. You must also be confident and happy to drive a transit van to visit potential customers Key roles and responsibilities maximise incoming sales enquiries through robust, consultative telephone sales techniques, identify and qualify customers who would benefit from a face-to-face visit with our mobile showroom, manage time to schedule home visits to clients around geographical demand, present the mobile showroom to customers and run meetings in order to maximise revenue generated from each home visit, ensure all leads move through the sales pipeline as quickly and efficiently as possible to increase revenue generated, monitor pipeline and revenue progress, ensuring accurate reporting to leadership, capture all relevant customer data and ensure database is kept up to date and accurate at all times, daily communication with national sales manager, offer advice to clients, where necessary, on colour schemes, fabrics and room layout, represent the maker&son brand through all communication with clients. Ideal skills and experience at least 10 years experience in sales with proven ability to deliver revenue targets, ability to communicate articulately and enthusiastically with clients and colleagues, strong interpersonal skills and confident personality, active and perceptive listener able to pick up on what the client is and isn’t saying during sales calls/meetings, self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively, ability to use initiative/think on feet to identify opportunities, ability to work with different technology platforms and online packages including google sheets documents and crm and basic accounting packages, capture all relevant customer data and ensure in house crm system is kept up to date and accurate at all time, must be a natural team player and have excellent communication skills, flexibility is essential as the role may require the successful candidate to avail themselves on weekends, or in the evenings to facilitate customer availability, a clean driving licence (clean for the last 5 years), some experience of driving a van (our mobile showroom) would be helpful but is not essential, a passion for, and/or experience within the design, furniture and interiors industry.
