VetSouth are recruiting!
In the last advert, we talked about the lifestyle in Southland, the great schools, the hiking, the restaurants. One quick google search and you can learn how fabulous Southland is. How about this time we talk a little bit about who we are, what we offer!
Who are we? What a question!
Not too long ago, two superhero veterinarians, we'll call them Mark & Vince, united in Southland. One had a clinic in the West, the other in the East. Fast forward a few moons and we now have three main clinics along with five smaller clinics scattered throughout the beautiful south. With a strong reputation across the globe, we have had many veterinarians walk through our doors. Some, just for a wee while, on their travelling journey. Others, for the long haul, falling in love with everything Southland has to offer. We are VetSouth and so much more. We are locally owned and operated with shareholding veterinarians working in our clinics, sharing their knowledge and wisdom, supporting the teams. We have grown from strength to strength creating more opportunities than ever before as we are part of the Comhla Vet Group.
We like to grow our people and provide shareholding opportunities for other aspiring vets. What does this mean? It means if you align with our values then we want to align with your career goals.
So, what is in it for you:
A competitive salary - researched yearly to ensure we are at the higher end of the scale.
Six weeks free accommodation on arrival
Four weeks personal usage of your work vehicle to give you time to purchase one.
A relocation allowance.
A healthy CPD allowance
Yearly remuneration reviews and a career plan with bi-annual reviews to keep you on track.
In-house physio/Pilates instructor to prepare for Spring.
A strong focus on well-being with in-house Vitae appointment blocks
Regular Good Yarn facilitations - educating all of us on mental health.
Food for good. Eating on the run? The kitchens are stocked with yummy food to keep you energised.
We recognise that the veterinarians are the heart of our business and to help them to what they do best, we provide them with gold standard support. We have highly competent nurses and techs, a well-run farm services team to help navigate the logistics of the day and a fantastic retail team with a wealth of knowledge in products and seasonal demands.
We currently have opportunities in Gore and Winton for experienced Large Animal and Mixed Animal veterinarians. These clinics have their own unique personalities. Both are awesome in their own ways however they have always got one thing in common - In it together.
