Description
Meter Reader Water Corporation location Northam and Wheatbelt WA.
Fixed term contract until 17th November 2023. Freedom to set your daily schedule around family/personal commitments. Work vehicle, uniform and all equipment included. What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it). You will work locally, conducting meter readings, testing taps and assisting with the maintenance of meters.
You will be reviewing reports, helping customers and recording issues on non-compliant water services. You will keep fit, walking over 15km per day and you have the freedom of setting your daily schedule around family / personal commitments. You will enjoy a friendly work / life balance, (work 9 days a fortnight) - there are no FIFO shifts so you get home each night. The only thing you need is a Driving Licence (Class C), a strong awareness of safety and you must be comfortable working alone. That’s it! Your positive attitude will see you do well.
What’s in it for you competitive salary of $61,378 inc. super ($55,546 plus 10.5% super). We top up your salary with an extra 17.5% Annual Leave loading for each day you take off. Receive an extra 2 well-being days (pro rata) to do whatever you want. Work vehicle, uniform and all equipment included.
