Mental Health Recovery Program Specialist Odyssey House NSW location Sydney.

This position is primarily responsible for the provision of specialised assistance to support the mental health recovery needs of Odyssey House NSW residents.

Duties include provision of individual client support including mental health case management. Facilitation of group treatment and psycho-education. Provide education and professional support to staff team regarding support for mental health concerns and other complex support needs. Work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to ensure high quality, consistent and continuous care. Administer and analyse relevant psychometrics. Participate in Clinical Governance including Quality Improvement.

Essential selection criteria Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline, particularly Psychology, Social Work or Nursing, or VET qualification with significant Mental Health experience. Current registration with AHPRA where relevant. Significant experience supporting AOD support needs, mental health support needs and/or co-occurring support needs. Experience in provision of one-to-one support for people with AOD and/or mental health support needs. Experience in group facilitation and group program delivery.

Demonstrated experience working within relevant professions where employee is operating in professional role (e.g. mental health nursing, psychology). Demonstrated experience in the administration and analysis of psychometric testing. Commitment to the Odyssey House NSW Mission and Values, EEO and Quality Improvement. Current NSW Driver’s License. Unlimited right to work in Australia. Current Criminal Record check, current WWC Employee Clearance.
