Medical Secretary or Receptionist Northern Beaches Specialist Care location Sydney. $26 – $30 per hour.

We are a vibrant surgical and allied health practice looking for two (2) Medical Receptionists to job share a varied and exciting role as the face(s) of our Practice.

About us we are a growing Specialist Breast Clinic who deliver rapid-access, patient-centred care in the Northern Beaches and surrounding area. We specialise in breast disease and general surgery and are a busy Allied Health integrated practice with Surgeons.

Working closely with our Principal Practice Manager, you will be provided the ongoing training and mentorship to grow with our business. We value a genuine interest in patient care and healthcare administration. This role would suit University students, however, we would welcome long-term additions to our team if it's the right fit.

About the role roles and responsibilities answering telephone and website enquiries. Booking patient appointments. General reception duties. Billing (Medicare and health funds). Day-to-day front of house. Booking surgeries and associated procedures for patients. Managing supplies and stock for treatment rooms. Managing calendars and operating theatre schedules. Website maintenance, social media. GP liaison, networking. Proofreading medical letters.

Skills and experience previous experience in a similar role or FMCG essential. Kind and professional presentation essential. Computer literacy with sound typing skills (Experience with Clinic2Cloud or cloud-based practice management software preferred but not essential). A strength in problem solving, organisation and multitasking is a distinct advantage. The ability to take common-sense initiative and work as part of a team with many moving parts.

What we offer work/life balance. We are looking to jobshare a full-time role with two permanent part-time positions, Mondays to Fridays, with an alternating fortnightly roster of 3 days one week, 2 days the next. We are open to flexibility in the rostering for the right fit.

This role will thrive with your personality and a genuine interest in what we do. Remuneration $28-30ph, approx. 45-48h per fortnight.
