Description

We are seeking an experienced Co-ordinator with a strong administration background to fill our Medical Resource & Management Support Co-ordinator role working within the Mental Health & Addiction Management team. In this role you would be liaising with a number of people / departments including Recruitment, Service Managers, Clinical Heads and the SMO / RMO groups with a focus on activities such as orientation, roster development and management and coordination of the regular medical staff forums. The role also provides administration support to the Executive Assistant and Mental Health & Addiction’s management office.

The role is varied and provides the opportunity for the position holder to problem solve, build strong networks, collate and communicate written information to a range of stakeholders and to effectively prioritise a number of competing demands.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours Monday to Friday based at Middlemore Hospital and reports into the General Manager.

The ideal candidate:

Formal qualification in administration, customer service or similar
Experience in medical resource co-ordination and/or senior administration positions
Previous experience in the health sector, particularly mental health would be an advantage, but not necessary.
Essential:

Experience providing administrative support to a team (minimum of 2-3 years)
Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and requests
Full NZ Driver’s Licence with no limitations

The salary range is dependent on skills and experience and will be paid in line with the National Administration Collective agreement.
