Medical Receptionist (clinical assistant). Are you looking for an interesting role with lots of people contact where you will make a difference in people's lives. We are looking for a medical receptionist for our busy and varied medical practice, based in Freemans Bay, Central Auckland. We are wanting a full time staff member only.

We need someone well presented, polished and professional who exudes a warm welcome. As you will be the first point of contact for our patients you will have a bright professional manner and excellent presentation, telephone manner and communication skills. Staff members are also required to have an eye for detail, with good eye/hand coordination, humble and eager to learn new skills. You need to be able to work efficiently to keep up with the fast pace during our busy periods.

You will be keen to help on any task and show thoroughness and attention to detail in order to get the job done. Remaining calm under pressure you will be able to juggle different tasks to help our busy team. You will need to be available to work the occasional weekend.

The role includes medical reception duties assisting medical staff with procedures. Answering the telephone and replying emails. Cleaning and tidying the rooms and equipment. Recording data and accounting.

Previous medical experience is not necessary so long as you have the right attitude as training is offered. Knowledge and use of Medtech Evolution is an advantage.

Fluent English is essential. You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this job. Valid work visa's are welcome. Employment is subject to a mandatory Police Check.
