The Employer MSK Medical Imaging specialises in ultrasound and X-ray scanning of patient injuries and other general health complaints.  We have recently moved into brand new purpose-built premises at 33 Arena Avenue, next to Industry cafe (your Friday coffees are sorted!). We aim to provide the highest standards of patient care and quality of service and we are looking for a dedicated and friendly receptionist to join our developing practice.

The position the main objective of this role is to build a rapport with our patients and referrers.  Alongside this, your essential duties and responsibilities will include greeting arriving patients, booking and managing patient appointments, answering all incoming phone calls and handling phone enquiries, communication with patients in a way that maintains privacy and respect, dealing with incoming email and phone messages, entering booking and patient information into our software, liaising with referrers including physiotherapists and GPs.

Liaising with ACC and patients’ insurance companies for invoicing and payment purposes, collecting account payments from patients and providing receipts where required, completing accurate invoicing, processing end of day banking/eftpos and account reconciliations, acting as a chaperone during scans, as required; and general administrative tasks in the practice, as required.   We will provide training for use of our software.

You we are looking for someone with reception and/or administrative experience, ideally in the medical sector.  You will be approachable, resourceful and genuinely enjoy patient interaction.  You will have good multi-tasking and communication skills.

The hourly rate of pay will be reflective of the skills and experience you have; for the right candidate the rate will be competitive.  We will undertake annual reviews of your hourly rate.
