Medical Receptionist Narrabeen Family Medical location Sydney.

Narrabeen Family Medical Practice is a busy growing General Practice supporting the community on the Northern Beaches.  We are experiencing a large influx of new patients and our practice will be relocating to a new state of the art location in early December.  We require a number of new team members and we can offer full time, part time and casual employment.

The position would suit a confident, well organised person, with good computer skills and excellent customer service. Our practice consists of 10 part time GPs, two practice nurses and our hard working reception team. The role reports directly to the practice manager and practice principal.

Currently we require 2 team members to manage our busy phones and organise patient appointments as well as other reception tasks. Essential criteria experience (1 to 2 years) working in General Practice and practice management software (Best Practice).

Ability to work in a very fast paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are vital. Empathetic patient-focused approach. Work co-operatively and prioritise tasks. Ability to work in a well established practice team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to take on extra administrative tasks to support the practice manager.
