Start asap medical Receptionist role, working with a young and professional team on a vibrant university campus in Macquarie Park. 2 month temporary role with the view to go permanent. Full time role, $29.52 per hour + super.

About the role we are seeking a wonderful medical receptionist who can provide exceptional reception duties and customer service to a professional and fast-paced team. The clinic is open from 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday and stable full-time hours are offered, with no weekend work required! Starting initially as a 2 month contract, this role will transition quickly to permanent for the right candidate.

Duties meeting and greeting visitors. Providing customer service, making appointments and answering enquiries from patients and medical practitioners. Scheduling patient appointments. Processing Medicare and Private Health Fund billings. Ensuring accurate data entry of patient information into the patient management system. Communicating, liaising and coordinating duties with other administrative and reception staff in the clinic. Collection and sorting of incoming mail and coordination of outgoing mail.

The ideal candidate this role will be a perfect fit for someone with receptionist or administration experience who is energetic, organised and hard-working, with an eagerness to provide valuable support to both patients and a team of well-regarded health practitioners. Whilst previous medical experience in a reception or administration role is preferred, it is not essential. You will be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and the ability to hit the ground running in a busy work environment. You will be confident using different systems, empathetic and calm in nature and a true team player.
