Medical Receptionist Northwest Neurosurgery location Sydney. $32 – $38 per hour.

About the role Northwest Neurosurgery is currently looking for a Medical Receptionist - Secretary  to join the team. The successful applicant will be required to work on-site 3 - 4 days per week. We require at least 24 hours per week but this could potentially be increased for an appropriate candidate. Salary range $32.00 - $38.00 per hour plus superannuation.

What you’ll be doing as a Medical Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for many of our patients. This role is specifically suited to a motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic, responsible individual that is able to offer a positive experience for our patients and other team members.

Key tasks and responsibilities welcoming patients into the practice. Answering incoming calls and patient enquiries. Scheduling appointments. Ensuring that patients understand what they need to bring with them and arranging necessary investigations associated with the consultation.

Confirmation of all appointments with appropriate preparation of patients. Accurate data entry into BlueChip software and audit modules. Providing assistance to the Practice Manager as required. Maintaining a clean and organised office space. The office environment is suited to an aware candidate with highly developed interpersonal skills and pleasant communication style.

About you skills and experience excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently. Display a high level of attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment.

Demonstrate the ability to prioritise multiple time critical tasks. Be professional, courteous and compassionate. At least five years previous experience as a medical secretary essential. Prior experience with BlueChip and Medical Director is essential.
