Medical Laboratory Technician Private Advertiser location Auckland.

You will be working in a privately owned IANZ accredited laboratory. We are looking for new members for our Covid 19 testing team.

Responsibilities will include checking specimens and forms to ensure all patient information and specimen requirements are met. Follow direction from senior staff to organise and prioritise workflow to meet the company's requirements. Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment in a condition that allows optimum performance as directed. High level of customer service, and discretion. Undertake clerical and administrative duties (such as data entry) for the department as directed.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements Qualified and registered Medical Laboratory Technician. The ability to work in a methodical manner adhering to strict quality procedure guidelines. Have a sound knowledge of laboratory operations including safety and operation of equipment. Awareness of ethical, privacy, and procedural regulations. Flexibility with working hours across a 24/7 roster. Flexibility to work across different areas of the laboratory. Legally entitled to work in New Zealand. Be willing to undergo a security and criminal records check.
