Medical Admin or Receptionist Ormond Medical Centre location Melbourne. $23 – $30 per hour.

Privately Owned/Private Billing General Practice Ormond Medical Centre provides high quality patient care. We are looking for an Admin/Receptionist to help us deliver continued excellent service to our patients, third parties and work colleagues. We need you if you are motivated, enthusiastic, willing to learn, have a positive attitude with initiative and interested in being part of a great team.

Required hours Wednesday 2.00-6.00pm, Friday 2.00-6.00pm Saturday 8.45-12.00pm. 12.25 hours per week and flexibility to cover leave where required.

Essential criteria excellent computer skills including scanning, emails, Word with a willingness to learn required software packages for role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment. Attention to detail and problem solving capabilities.

Reliability, punctuality, integrity and initiative. Be willing to complete compulsory training as directed. Attend team meetings either in person or via online app. Able to commence July 2023. A current police check. Working with Children Check and current Basic Life Saving qualification highly regarded. We prefer someone with experience, however if you have the right attitude and aptitude we will consider your application.

Duties will include but not limited to reception making appointments, answering phones, greeting patients, mail, emails, faxes, infection control duties, maintaining appointment book, confirming appointments, billing. Admin scanning, payment processing, reconciliation, accounts, infection control duties, general admin as directed
