An internationally known and leading automation manufacturing company is looking to expand their mechanical fitting team. Specialising in the customisation, design and production of robotically powered conveyor belt palletizing systems, they are a well-established company with global career opportunities.

As part of the service team, you will be carrying out maintenance and repairs on the companies’ products across Auckland and the rest of the North Island. Monday to Friday role, with some out-of-town travel required. In addition, we can offer a friendly, positively uplifting, and supportive team environment.

$38.50-40 per hour, Time and a half 40 hours, Day shift, West Auckland Location, Internal training to increase your product/service knowledge. Your key responsibilities will include repair and maintain a variety of our products on our clients’ sites. General Fitting and Assembly of components and equipment. General engineering fabrication work including, cutting, grinding, drilling, welding where required. Travelling domestically and internationally when required for onsite projects. Produce estimates for resources and time required to deliver projects. Daily planning, organising materials and updating records.

You will a tertiary degree in mechanical engineering, or similar work experience. Have the ability to fault find and identify root cause of faulty machinery. Knowledgeable with reading and interpreting plans. Several years’ experience with machine maintenance, experience with automation would be advantageous and an electrical aptitude. The ability to travel domestically and internationally. Be able to follow Health and Safety rules and procedures.
