About the role the mechanical engineer will be producing drawings in accordance with the specifications given by the client. You will use the latest software to complete HVAC designs and ensure the theory of work is correct. You may also from time to time visit sites and occasionally attend meetings with the client. Responsibilities produce drawings using the latest software such as autocad & revit, electrical design/selection of hvac systems for commercial builds such as hospitals, schools and universities, liaise with senior management/stakeholders when needed, attend design reviews, complete documentation. Skills and experience bachelor’s degree or relevant tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering, minimum 3 years of australian experience within building services/mep design, capable of completing hvac design work independently and within a team, must have experience using revit.
