We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract role.
About the Role
Joining our dynamic Marketing team, the Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role assisting the Commercial Services & Segments Marketing Manager and broader Commercial teams in the delivery of a program that aligns and supports the Commercial Strategy and delivers a broad range of marketing support for the Organisations segment. This includes campaign strategy, development and implementation across a range of business-critical segments both ATL and BTL, producing B2B material to support a large sales team and bring the Commercial strategy to life!
This is a critical role that executes aspects of the marketing program that strengthens the Bunnings Trade brand positioning to retain and grow our Organisations customer base across Australia and New Zealand.
This role requires the ability to write and lead advertising briefs, work with cross-functional teams, including agencies, to deliver a planned program of marketing activity against tight timeframes, and to close out campaigns with reporting and recommendations to Marketing and business stakeholders.
What’s involved
As the Marketing Specialist you will:
Maintain the AU/NZ marketing calendar with activity and events for the Organisations segment that supports their growth across key strategic pillars in conjunction with the Commercial planning team
Hold workshops with the Commercial Organisations sales and marketing team to work through programs of activity and ensure alignment across different functions
Create effective B2B marketing collateral and sales enablement packs to ensure trans-Tasman Account Managers and Business Development Managers have all the material required to sell our offer to key customers across partners, suppliers, customers and associations
Support as required the production of reports, presentations and marketing materials
Collaborate with the digital team to ensure the website contains all material relevant to Organisations customers
Assist the content team in developing and delivering relevant content strategies to drive engagement and build brand connection with key associations, suppliers, customers and partners
Who we are looking for
You enjoy working in a collaborative, outcome-driven, fast-paced environment where you will be supported in your work and learning. Your exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, coupled with your organisational skills, will see you succeed in this role.
You possess exceptional stakeholder management skills, are a creative and strong communicator (both verbally and written) who is passionate about meeting the B2B segments' needs.
You will also have:
Three+ years' experience in marketing or a related business management role.
Preferably B2B marketing, sales or operational experience in Visitor Economy, Assisted Living, building or construction or industry association
A degree in Marketing, Business Development or relevant studies at Tertiary Level
