Come and join the team at The Marketing Baker, a boutique marketing agency who serve clients from various industries and of various sizes. The work is varied and interesting and makes a real difference in our client’s businesses and lives. Your role will be to help us bake up and deliver stellar marketing to our clients. From campaign development to delivery and implementation of marketing plans. You’ll be working with clients, contractors, suppliers and partners to bring things together with flare and a bit of marketing magic as the special ingredient.

This is the perfect fit for someone who loves all facets of marketing. A true tech-savvy all-rounder, you’re organised and able to juggle many balls, as they come, pull together bits and pieces and turn them into a true masterpiece of irresistible goodness.

You know your way around various marketing tools such as email marketing platforms (e.g. MailChimp, MailerLite, Klaviyo, Active Campaign etc.), Canva, WordPress (Divi, Elementor, WPBakery), Other website content management systems (Shopify, Squarespace, etc), Social Media (Meta Business Suite, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.). A strong familiarity with Facebook Ads Manager and creating ad campaigns. There’s a lot more in play but those are the ones we use daily. Bonus points if you have skills in the Adobe Suite or Google Ads.

You are a bit of a whizz with words and creating content that stands out and is highly effective, with a clear grasp on customer-centric marketing with clear and strong calls to action. We’re small boutique team so you’ll need to be a strong team player and be willing to get stuck in and make things happen, with top-notch written and verbal communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll be based in Auckland and willing to join in on some client meetings from time to time or visit clients to take photos or create and gather content. The director is based in East Auckland, and you can work remotely from home, but some travel to East Auckland may be required from time to time.

What we’re looking for a positive, get stuck in and get it done attitude. 3+ years experience in a marketing role, maybe you’ve had experience in an agency or you’ve been client-side responsible for the full marketing mix.

Experience and familiarity with the mentioned tools. A relevant marketing, communications or commerce qualifications, let us know if you have any other certifications too. Great interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication skills. A love of dogs and baking analogies is highly regarded. Full-time permanent position. You must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
