Market Support Officer Nursery Traders location Brisbane. $29.55 per hour.

Your role as a Nursery Hand is not just about nurturing plants, its about nurturing the planet. We are seeking two enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as casual Nursery Hands. One position is for 24 hours per week and another for 38 hours per week. Primary responsibilities include; weeding, watering, pruning, potting, spraying, merchandising stock for sale, support packer for stock dispatch, supporting goods inward and outward, collating orders, customer service, cleaning and general nursery duties.

Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the workplace, as well as adhere to WHS regulations. The ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, be able to work individually as well as part of a team, have a good understanding of safe lifting practices, enjoy working in a small team environment, have an interest in plants, have basic computer proficiency and be physically fit and healthy as the role requires bending, lifting and twisting and working in all weather conditions outdoors.

Previous experience in nursery work, horticultural knowledge, dealing with customers and cash handling experience would be considered highly advantageous. Working hours are between the hours of 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and possible weekend work on a need’s basis.
