Manufacturing Factory Worker Vital Petfoods Limited location Canterbury. Salary $19.50 per hour.

Vital Petfoods Limited is proudly New Zealand owned and operated business which produces high quality pet food product from raw products for both the domestic and international markets from its factory in Belfast, Christchurch.

The general hands working in this late team are responsible for the final tasks of the operations day, including packing, warehousing, but more importantly  cleaning the machinery and surrounds to meet GMP standards which involves pulling the machinery apart. There are also other tasks associated with getting the factory ready for the next day. Having a Fendorsed Fork Driver's licence is also preferred.

To be successful in this role you would need to a prior working knowledge of machinery, attention to detail and be able to work well in a team. All applicants need to be fit and healthy for these fast paced and physically demanding roles.

The role of General Hand includes the following Monday to Friday generally 8 hours per day, The hours for this team will be 1.30pm to approximately 10.00pm.   Some flexibility in hours may be required to meet operational demands. Occasional Saturday work is available.
