Job Description
Our Project and Program Delivery team strategically partners with clients to improve their likelihood of success by addressing challenges in developing and delivering major infrastructure projects and programs of work. We provide integrated project management, project controls, planning and design, and contract compliance and assurance advice—using data-driven tools and methodologies to increase the probability of success at every stage of the project and asset lifecycle.

Our team is embedded within KPMG’s Infrastructure, Asset & Places group, a national team of global infrastructure specialists. Our differentiator is our experience across all aspects of the infrastructure project life cycle and our close connection with KPMG’s wider specialised services, offering unique opportunities to work together on a broad range of clients and industries to further deepen and strengthen client relationships.

Your Opportunity

Managers are considered mid-career professionals who understand the infrastructure sector, can lead and build teams and are known for their ability to deliver work. Note: This is not an IT-focused role.

Our team partners closely with clients to scope, plan, and deliver strategic infrastructure investments across major, complex projects.

We currently have exciting opportunities for professionals from project delivery backgrounds who are ready to take the next step in their career.

We're seeking a Manager with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

Project Management
Project Risk Management
Project Control
Project Cost Control
Project Planning and Scheduling

Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Experience in client-side or advisory roles across infrastructure or capital-intensive industries
Proficiency in Primavera P6
Confidence in managing key project elements including cost, risk, planning, scheduling, and budgets
The ability to lead or review programs of work, manage risks, support procurement, and engage effectively with stakeholders
A problem-solving mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and delivery excellence
Hands-on experience in Project Management, Controls, Risk, or Planning, with a solid understanding of project control procedures and implementation
Qualifications

A degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical), Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Project Management
Familiarity with frameworks such as PMBOK, AACE Total Cost Management, ISO 31000, or RES Contingency Guidelines
