Our role greys Ave is the creation of a 276-unit apartment complex in central Auckland, delivered under a 'single-site supported housing' model.

The new development includes both retail/commercial and office spaces alongside shared amenities, designed to create a welcoming, supportive, and connected community within an environment that promotes greater health and wellbeing outcomes.

'Single-site supported housing' is the coordination of public housing coupled with support services to meet customers' social and health needs and increase wellbeing. Greys Ave is one of the first demonstrations of single-site supported housing in Aotearoa New Zealand with 24/7 on-site support services.

Based at 139 Greys Avenue, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day management of operations. You will support a multitude of services and business groups that will be on-site with the collective vision to enable improved health, social and wellbeing outcomes for all Kāinga Ora customers and the surrounding community.

Embedding innovation and contributing to continuous improvement for new approaches and ways of working at Greys Ave will be a key focus for the Manager.

What you will bring demonstrated experience leading operational teams in a multi-faceted environment at a senior level, inspiring and leading teams that act with empathy and customer-centricity.

A wealth of experience working with vulnerable customers and the community with varied needs, coupled with a passion for improving customer outcomes and empathy for people from all walks of life.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to innovate, communicate and lead the operations of a new way of working, engaging key stakeholders and teams, and collaborating to fulfil the outcomes for Greys Ave.

You'll have a strong understanding of Te Ao Māori principles and practices to ensure all services are culturally appropriate, fit for purpose, embedded into our day-to-day mahi and are at the forefront of all interactions at Greys Ave.
