Management Accountant Role Call location Auckland. $120,000-$130,000.

Who they are FMCG business with a great portfolio of snack food & on-the-go meals. They continue to expand through NPD, commercial partnerships and export across NZ & Australia. Based in the office and manufacturing site in South Auckland, you will be working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production to ensure that the financial insights support critical decisions.

The role reporting to the Head of Finance, you will spend most of your time with Operations, Supply Chain & Production to get deep into understanding the key drivers.

Your responsibilities will include management reporting around labour/resourcing, raw materials, and production productivity. Attending team meetings to present weekly and monthly financial reports and identify opportunities to enhance, optimise, or create more meaningful financial insights.

Work closely with the Head of Finance NZ and your peers in Australia to implement best practice processes and look for ways to streamline reporting between multiple locations. Review and analyse manufacturing KPIs and support the team to achieve the right outcomes

Your experience you do not need to have FMCG experience although it would preferred. The business is open to anyone who has worked in a complex environment before where there are multiple moving parts; for example manufacturing, high-volume distribution, shipping and logistics, construction, retail.

You will need to be curious! This is an interesting role for those who want to stretch their commercial and analytical skills as you will learn product costing (from raw materials to finished goods), ROI and investment analysis and be involved in decision-making.

The skills, experience, and knowledge we are looking for previous management accounting, business partnering or financial analysis in a mid to large, complex environment. Curious and commercial, examples of where your questioning has led to improved outcomes for the business.
