Liquor Department Manager Picton Freshchoice location Marlborough.

Picton FreshChoice is a friendly, locally owned supermarket at the gateway to the picturesque Marlborough Sounds. We are seeking a motivated, positive person with previous industry experience to work within our team as the Liquor Department Manager. The successful applicant must be reliable, a strong leader and a team player.

Experience is essential for this role in the following areas. Knowledge/Experience of the wine & beer category. Be driven to work autonomously & within the wider Grocery team. Stock management. Product management - New/Deleted & Product Relays. Ordering of stock & understanding sales patterns.

Ability to maintain order accurately with analysis of sales data. Computer skills, including experience using a stock management IT software system. Supermarket industry experience & strong merchandising skills. Ability to manage invoices & inwards stock records.

Proven time management & customer service skills. Be fit & able for a physical role. It is a permanent contract for 40 hrs per week; some flexibility is required during the busy summer season. Remuneration will depend on the successful applicants experience and skills.
