Library Assistant New Zealand Law Society location Auckland.

About the role we are seeking a motivated and friendly person to join our Member Services department, to work in our Auckland Library. The work involves document supply, desk duties, data entry for LINX and various other library assistant level tasks.

You’ll be working with a collegial, supportive team of Librarians, Legal Researchers and Library Assistants to provide information services to the New Zealand legal profession. Our Library has an extensive collection (print & online) provides research and document delivery services and publishes the LINX database, an index to New Zealand legal materials.

If you take pride in your work, pay careful attention to detail, are flexible and enjoy a challenge, you may be the person we are looking for. Excellent customer service and communication skills, computer literacy, time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. A tertiary qualification and experience working in a library, and/or legal knowledge is required.
