Legal Support Assistant Ministry of Justice location Auckland.
About the role we are looking for a super-organised, practical and enthusiastic person to join our team in our Central Auckland office. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team who have a genuine interest in sharing knowledge and supporting one another in an enjoyable, busy and sometimes challenging environment.
Your duties will include setting up client files, accurately processing disclosures, covering reception, answering phones, assisting our legal secretaries and supporting the office, copying, collating and filing legal documents. As a key team member at the PDS you will have access to a very successful three-month induction programme for PDS administration staff. You will also be able to attend monthly training sessions.
Skills and experience to be successful in this role you will need attention to detail. Ability to take instruction and follow through. The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. The ability to prioritise and use your initiative. Data entry experience. You must have the right to work in New Zealand.
Whilst you may have already gained some experience in a professional environment that is customer driven, and been involved in general office administration tasks, this is a chance for you to get in at the 'ground floor' and establish a great career path for yourself, in the interesting area of criminal law.

Salary range the remuneration band for this role is $48,184 to $56,136 - while the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience, we are willing to pay higher in the band to attract strong candidates into this role.
