Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant Schweikert Harris location Brisbane.

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced, motivated Legal Secretary/Executive Assistant to join our friendly and professional team on a permanent full-time basis. The role encompasses a broad range of secretarial duties supporting Partners, Senior Associates, Solicitors, Paralegals and front of house duties.

The role to be successful in this role you will require a minimum of 2 years experience as a legal secretary; Litigation experience preferable. High level experience with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Pro, Outlook, Teams and Bighand. Experience with Practice Evolve an advantage.

Accounts Payable and Receivable experience; time recording, filing, and archiving. Billing experience; drafting, editing, amending and management of billing deadlines required. IT Issue oversight and collaboration with IT/Commercial Team; responsible for overseeing IT issues and coordinating with the IT/Commercial team. Excellent time management, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work.

Ability to work proactively on files, including maintaining electronic and paper based files. Ability to draft and amend correspondence and documents. Excellent people skills and team orientated as you will have direct client contact plus be the main point of communication across the firm.

A professional manner and appearance. Ability to work autonomously and assist fee earners with all general secretarial duties diary Management skills. Fast accurate typing skills; min 60wpm and dictation experience. Responsible and trustworthy.
