Job Description
Your opportunity to join our exciting Laboratory Team!
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in a fast-paced poultry processing environment. In this hands-on role, you'll carry out animal welfare checks, conduct hygiene inspections, verify cleaning standards, and prepare production paperwork. You’ll work closely with both the operations and hygiene teams to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and production readiness.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:00pm – 4:00am.

Daily Tasks:
Conducting routine animal welfare checks in the lairage area
Performing pre-operational hygiene inspections in Red and White Areas
Communicating with the cleaning contractor to follow up on daily pre-op findings
Verifying cleanliness in non-production areas through scheduled weekly checks
Printing and preparing production paperwork for the operations team
You will bring to this role:
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Comfortable performing manual tasks in a production environment
Previous experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or laboratory work (preferred but not essential)
A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining hygiene and compliance standards
