Australian Clinical Labs is a leading provider of Pathology services and is continually growing and developing. We are seeking a Laboratory assistant to work in our specimen reception department and be responsible for receipt, sorting, checking of patient information and distributing biological specimens to the laboratory.

Permanent part time, Evening work (5pm - 1am), Availability to work a 7 day roster, Located in Sydney’s Northwest region at Bella Vista. Selection criteria excellent communication skills in dealing with internal and external clients. The ability to prioritise specimens through interpretation of referrals. To communicate any relevant information to the manager. Ensure that all company WH&S requirements are observed. Maintain a high quality, team focused, accurate and efficient work environment.

Ensure the separation of incoming samples according to the priority of order, to facilitate the quick transfer of specimens from the sorting bench to testing departments both internally and externally and accessioning of these samples. Maintain and initiate excellent customer service skills at all times. Courteous and responsive phone manner. Certificate III in pathology required. Previous experience essential.
