Lab Assistant location Pasir Ris / Tampines, East. Job Type Full-Time.

Job purpose carry out sampling, testing, measuring, recording and samples dispatch in cooperation with the rest of the lab team. Perform laboratory duties, documents and data entry. Clean and maintain work area and all lap equipment and supplies. Perform fragrance evaluation whenever required under the supervisor.

Key duties and responsibilities preparing samples, Despatch of samples. Clean and store laboratory glassware / instruments after use. Replace defective or broken glassware / instruments from stock. Distribute supplies and equipment for use as directed. Cleans and maintain work areas and disposes of contaminated matter as needed. Adhere to correct procedures, policies and health / safety guidelines. Completes projects by assisting project team; attending and participating in group and project meetings.

Prepare samples for GCMS analysis and maintain good records. Perform fragrance and raw materials odour evaluation whenever required under the supervision of Senior. Performing laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases. Ensure quality standards of all raw materials in the laboratory and fragrances. Compose correspondence / reports. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add to job accomplishments. All other duties as assigned.
