We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic kitchen team. You will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness, supporting food preparation, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Location: RAAF East Sale
Hourly rate: $31.65 + Penalties where applicable (inclusive of casual loading)
Casual Opportunity available for Afternoon shifts
Roster between weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Uniform/PPE supplied

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks
Wash, peel, and chop vegetables and other ingredients
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Wash dishes, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment
Remove rubbish and ensure kitchen waste is disposed of properly
Unpack and store deliveries in the correct areas
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
Perform other duties as directed by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager
About you:

Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
