F&B Service & Sous Chef / Service & Kitchen Crew Description OTC Cafe: We are a small, fun, energetic team situated in Central Bugis and we are looking to hire a Full-Time Service & Kitchen Crew / Sous Chef
Roles & responsibilities looking for a motivated hire that can do both kitchen duties and service duties. Takes care of daily food and beverage preparation and duties assigned by the Managers / Chef to meet the standard and the quality set by the Café. Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times. Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature. Operate and maintain all kitchen equipment and reporting of malfunctioning. Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
Have excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business. Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils. Maintain knowledge of all recipes so that the head chef’s place can be filled in effectively in case of absenteeism.
Requirements Full Time Hire; Ability to start ASAP preferred. Singaporean, PR, WP and S-Pass are welcome to apply. Working hours 11am-9pm. Willing to work weekends and public holidays. Previous experience in the culinary field required. Basic Food Hygiene Cert preferred. Positive Energy & Attitude. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Highly responsible & reliable. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
