Kennels and Cattery attendant wandering Willows Kennels and Cattery is seeking member of staff to join our awesome team! You will be required to work approximately 32 hours per week, We are willing to work with the right candidates to ensure everyone is happy with their roster, but working some weekends will be required.

Duties include but are not limited to handing Cats and Dogs of various sizes and temperaments. Communicating with customers and providing feedback about their pet’s stay. Administrative tasks. Cleaning and Maintenance. Driving a taxi full of gorgeous dogs.

You should note this job is physically demanding - this isn’t about cuddling puppies and kittens all day (though we do do love that bit!) this role ensures that our guests are safe, happy and well-cared for. As we are a specialised Kennels run by two behaviourists, we would prefer someone with a drive to further their knowledge of animal behaviour. We are able to aid in further education and practical experience.

We are seeking individuals with the following skills sets experience in Animal Handling. A knowledge of force free training & behavior. Good communication skills. An independent thinker, but someone that is also a team player. Be able to multitask in a high pressure environment. Full, clean drivers Licence. Previous animal handling experience will be viewed favourably.
