Kennel and Cattery Attendant Eureka Boarding Kennels and Cattery location Ballarat and Central Highlands. $25 - $34.99 per hour.

Eureka Boarding Kennels and Cattery are currently seeking casual animal attendants for our Pet Resort If you are experienced in caring for animals or you have a genuine affection for cats and dogs, we would love for you to join our team.

Applicants with working experience in kennels/catteries or who have completed certificates in animal studies and/or companion animal services are preferred. Shifts are required during the periods 7.00am – 1.00pm, and 12 til 6.00pm seven days/week. Set shifts can be arranged, eg if you only need weekend work, or if you have available days around study etc.

Animal Attendants Are responsible for the quality of pet welfare and care, with particular tasks cleaning kennels, feeding pets, medicating pets, bathing and brushing pets, and exercising of pets.

You must adhere to Eureka Boarding Kennels and Cattery operating procedures and work health and safety requirements Please note this is a physically demanding job and will require the successful candidate to be fit and well.

You must be available during peak periods ie (christmas / school holidays / easter / weekends). Available for rotating shifts and at short notice to cover shifts. Highly motivated and reliable. Prepared to jump at the chance to help others in your team. Work at carrying out tasks within time frames. Able to work independently yet under guidance as needed. Strongly passionate about companion animals. A good communicator and team member.
