The opportunity Gorman is seeking a passionate and creative graphic designer to join the design team. This position is fully office-based in Abbotsford, VIC, to facilitate collaboration and provide greater opportunities for mentoring, networking, and career development through in-person interactions. We are seeking junior/mid-level designers with 1-4 years of experience in the industry for this role.

Reporting to the lead graphic designer, you will closely collaborate with the marketing team to create graphic design assets for print and digital channels while staying true to the gorman brand guidelines and values.

You will be responsible for digital graphics EDMs, home pages, web banners, Facebook banners, social media tiles, online lookbooks, collaboration pages, resizing images, competitions and media/centre requests.

Print graphics Press releases, media kits, lookbooks, postcards, window decals, posters, in-store signage, strut cards, product/style guidebooks, store launch signage requirements, mocking up windows to scale, packaging. Additional responsibilities packaging concepts, in-store signage, booking installers, etc.

The Ideal Candidate Must have strong Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign skills. Completed a degree or diploma in Graphic Design. The ability to commercially interpret a design brief. Hand-drawn illustration skills. A strong understanding of the gorman aesthetic and the ability to interpret it through design. Experience with MailChimp, Magento and campaign monitoring would be an advantage.
