Junior Project Coordinator Sustainable Construction Services location Melbourne, Northern Suburbs. Salary $50,000 - $70,000. Sustainable Construction Services (SCS) is a privately owned business that specialises in the supply and installation of high quality, durable and energy efficient products. SCS holds both commercial and residential building licenses allowing us to complete a range of projects across all sectors to the highest industry standards. Our product range includes double and triple glazed windows and doors, internal and external sun control systems, custom overhead glazing design and installation, cross laminated timber and glulam products, commercial and residential solar pv applications, our vision is to create healthier, more comfortable and secure spaces to live and work, thereby increasing energy efficiency, which saves costs and reduces the negative impact of energy consumption on the environment. The Role scs is in search of a high-performing Project Coordinator to join the team. Based in our Northern suburbs office, you will be joining a small efficient team and will be operating with an appropriate level of autonomy. The role is to essentially carry out sales support and coordination duties to assist our team in delivering projects to the highest standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capability to perform the following key responsibilities estimating, tendering and quoting, ability to read and understand technical drawings, client liaison and project scheduling, construction product design and purchasing duties, coordinating with project suppliers and ensuring scheduling/deadlines are met, project cost management, research and product development, candidate requirements, the ideal applicant will be a graduate of Civil, Structural or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management or Construction Engineering. Post graduation experience working in the building industry would be preferred. To be successful in this position the candidate will require the following attributes unrestricted working rights in australia, proficient in the use of excel and other microsoft programs, cad experience or experience with a similar drafting software, highly organised and excellent time management skills, high attention to detail, pro-active and have the ability to multitask, excellent verbal and written communication, high level customer service skills.
