The position this is an outstanding opportunity to be part of an exciting new zoo in the role of Maintenance Crew Member, utilising your skills in an area that you are genuinely passionate about. This role will commence as soon as possible. The Maintenance Crew Member will be responsible for maintaining Zoo buildings, walkways, and grounds and keeping equipment clean, orderly, and in functional condition. Also provides assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors as necessary.

Skills, knowledge and relevant experience proven experience as assistant to Operations Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems. Experience using hand and electrical tools. Ability to read technical manuals and drawings. Very good communication and interpersonal skills. Successful completion of an apprenticeship would be an advantage. Upholds all health & safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
