Junior IT Support Analyst Anton Murray Consulting location Melbourne. Salary $25 - $29.99 per hour.

Our client is a leading provider of financial services who is looking for a Junior IT Support Analyst on an initial 12 Month contract to join their Melbourne team.

Position overview candidate will be part of the team responsible for the daily production support and incident management for application within the shared services organisation with a focus on our securities lending processing applications.

The candidate will initially be trained towards holding level 1 support responsibilities, attending significant incident calls and escalating to level 2 support as needed. - The candidate will be trained in the production of clear and concise business communications during significant incidents and meet monthly with core business partners to review monthly support metrics and stability projects.

Contribute to the on-going development and enhancements to our Service-Now ITIL management tool for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change/Release Management, and Knowledge management. Participate in significant incident events to ensure timely resolution, escalation, and business communication.

The position is newly created within the growing technology organisation and will offer the opportunity to gain exposure to development teams and ITSM team focusing on production stability, incident management, problem management and change/release management. The candidate will be given significant opportunities to work on local automation projects.

The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years of IT experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business management.
