Due to growth, a newly created and challenging opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This opportunity offers CA/CPA study support and excellent mentorship from inspiring finance professionals and leaders. You will be collaborating with different teams within the organisation and will be exposed to dealing with different internal and external stakeholders. As a Junior Accountant, you will be reporting to the Senior Accountant. Your responsibilities will include accounts payable including coding, matching & batching, preparing payment runs, bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, credit card and staff reimbursement management, subcontractor timesheet processing, assisting with bas preparation, assisting with journal entries, monthly accruals and prepayments, ad hoc reporting and projects. The successful candidate will need to be a highly driven and dynamic individual, you will need to be a recent graduate of a degree in accounting, finance, economics or related fields, be looking to start or have commenced ca/cpa qualification, have the ability to demonstrate excellent and communications skills, have the ability multitask and prioritise deadlines, have the ability to be confident and be able to communicate to all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
