IT Support or Helpdesk The Insight Group location Melbourne.

Our client is a leading Victorian-based association operating within the education sector and providing a range of advice and innovative services to members. The organisation has invested significantly in the development of online member services and products. This has increased the strategic importance of ICT across the association and resulted in this function being brought ‘in-house’. The IT Support Officer will play an important role in maintaining the smooth operation of the helpdesk and working with IT staff to consistently deliver a high standard of service to all users.

The successful candidate will possess a strong customer service focus, a systematic and persistent approach to problem solving and the ability to prioritise and resolve a wide variety of technology issues. They will serve as the first point of contact for staff requiring ICT technical assistance and take effective action to provide timely resolution of problems and communications or escalate on behalf of the staff. This will include management and set up of hardware including desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, mobiles and printers. They will work closely with the Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to administer and maintain the ICT cloud environment.

Relevant experience in Application and Server Support with a focus on Cloud environments is essential. Candidates will also require an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 and 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Planner).
