About the role join our dedicated IT team at Language Disorder Australia, where your role will be pivotal in supporting the technology needs of our diverse non-for-profit organisation. This includes staff and students at Mancel College, our Bright Door clinics (in Fig Tree Pocket, Toowong and remotely to Townsville), corporate services and School Support Services at the head office in Toowong. The successful candidate will be based in Toowong and Fig Tree Pocket offices.

Key responsibilities comprehensive IT Support: Offer level 1 IT support to staff, students, parents and visitors. This involves handling support requests via phone, email, and in-person, and effectively troubleshooting various hardware and software issues from our ticketing system.

IT Infrastructure management assume a crucial role in the upkeep and administration of our IT infrastructure. This includes efficiently addressing and resolving tickets from the support system, ensuring the maintenance of detailed IT documentation, and overseeing the management of our IT inventory.

Process and Documentation improvement participate actively in improving our IT procedures and documentation. This role involves contributing to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures, along with documenting IT systems and workflows to enhance clarity and operational efficiency.

Cyber Security adherence maintain rigorous compliance with our cyber security protocols and procedures, support users in comprehending and adhering to our IT policy and relay any security concerns or issues promptly to the IT Manager.

Continuous Learning and Development: Dedicate yourself to ongoing advancement in IT expertise and knowledge. This involves engaging in professional growth activities, seeking applicable certifications, and keeping abreast of the most recent developments and innovations in IT technology and trends.

About you we're looking an individual who will bring a blend of skills, experience, and a passion for technology.

Key criteria post-secondary qualifications in IT (e.g., Certificate IV or above). Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 and/or Azure Fundamentals and/or Comptia A+ highly desirable. Experience with Apple School Manager and Jamf MDM highly desirable. Experience in providing IT support, preferably in an education or similar environment.

Exceptional focus on customer service for our staff and students, coupled with the skill to simplify and explain technical details to audiences without a technical background. Proficient in MS Windows and Office, MacOS, laptop management, iPads, and AV equipment. Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. A lifelong learner and natural problem-solver.
