Description

IT Support Officer Global Business College of Australia location Melbourne, CBD & Inner Suburbs. To provide front-line student and staff IT support for networks, hardware and online systems, develop systems and ensure IT policy and procedures are applied. You will be the first point of contact for IT related issues and take ownership of users queries and resolve them in a timely manner whilst escalating deeper technical issues as appropriate. Job tasks and responsibilities ensure it services are provided in accordance with applicable laws, organisational rules, and organisational requirements, ensure compliance with licence agreements, ensure computer facilities (including servers, networks, online systems, and desktop computers) are maintained and appropriate for use, establish and maintain help desk facilities, provide support for ict and a/v equipment to staff, students and the broader college community, report any suspected cases of communications or rule breaches and support management accordingly, meet operational and reporting deadlines, consult with the teaching team from time to time to ensure that delivery is appropriately supported. Skills and experience tertiary qualifications in it, at least two years of recent experience in windows server and office 365 administration, effective communication skills, both written and oral( chinese and english).
