IT Support Officer FIP Electrical Pty Ltd location Sydney, CBD, Inner West & Eastern Suburbs. FIP Electrical (NSW) Pty Ltd is a well-established Electrical Engineering and Contracting Company, servicing the needs of commercial and industrial projects throughout the eastern seaboard of Australia with offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania, operating for over 30 years and is continually growing and expanding. We are currently seeking a self-motivated IT Support Officer who is diligent and customer focused individual to assist staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and other related technology. This is a part-time opportunity, with flexibility on hours up to 20 per week (2-3 days a week) with a pay rate of $30 to $35/hour + super. The successful candidate must be professional, self-motivated, resourceful, flexible, work with minimal supervision and have a high level of attention to detail. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing/configuring/maintaining desktop hardware & software, offering technical support to users, contributing to creation of support material, fault reporting and escalation, performing routine maintenance tasks, continue to promote and transition the organisation towards cloud technologies. Skills and experience excellent verbal and written communication, relevant ict training and certifications, strong problem-solving skills, ability to work well with other people in a team-oriented environment, sound technical knowledge in microsoft windows 10, experience in administrating and supporting microsoft office 365, including exchange online, sharepoint online and onedrive, experience in active directory and windows server, computer hardware knowledge, including laptops, smart devices and printers, must have current driver’s license and vehicle as some travel around sydney metro area is required from time to time. Advantageous Skills for support would be hyper-v, basic understanding of networking/firewalls, previous help desk experience.
